The Vulcan V2 LED Round High Mast Floodlight is designed for large outdoor areas requiring high-output illumination from elevated mounting heights.
Available from 200W through 750W with output up to 110,250 lumens, the Vulcan V2 combines high-output LED performance with Type II, Type III, Type IV and Type V optical distributions for a wide range of high-mast and large-area lighting layouts.
Applications include roadway high mast lighting, container yards, shipyards, industrial facilities, aviation ramps and aprons, hangars, military facilities and other expansive outdoor areas.
The Vulcan V2 can also be specified as part of a broader industrial lighting system for large facilities requiring coordinated high-mast, roadway, yard and perimeter illumination.

These applications often require substantial horizontal coverage from relatively few high mounting locations, making optical distribution particularly important.
Type II, III, IV & V Optical Distributions
The Vulcan V2 offers four optical distributions:
Type II – Suitable for narrower, elongated lighting patterns where light needs to follow roadways or defined areas.
Type III – Provides broader forward distribution for roadways, parking and large perimeter applications.
Type IV – Useful where light needs to be projected forward from perimeter-mounted high mast poles.
Type V – Provides broad symmetrical coverage around the mounting location for large open areas.
The appropriate distribution should be selected according to pole placement, mounting height, spacing, target illumination and uniformity requirements.
For high mast projects, photometric analysis is recommended before fixture quantities and distributions are finalized.

The 750W model’s lumen-maintenance data provides a calculated L70 of approximately 194,000 hours under the manufacturer’s reported test conditions.

The Vulcan V2 is primarily a large-area high mast floodlight.
