102,000-Lumen LED Stadium Light for Sports Fields & High-Mast Applications

The Hi-Shoot 600W High Lumen LED Stadium Light is designed for stadiums, athletic fields and other large-area applications requiring powerful, precisely controlled illumination from elevated mounting positions.

Delivering 102,000 lumens at up to 170 lumens per watt, the Hi-Shoot combines high-output SMD7070 LEDs with six available optical distributions, IP66 construction, 0-10V dimming and optional intelligent lighting controls.

A broad selection of 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, Type II and T3S optics provides the flexibility to address different pole heights, aiming distances and field geometries.

For facilities evaluating broader industrial lighting requirements, high-mast sports lighting can be integrated with site, parking, roadway and other exterior lighting as part of a coordinated commercial lighting system.

600W / 102,000-Lumen Performance

The Hi-Shoot combines high lumen output with high LED efficacy:

  • 600W

  • 102,000 lumens

  • Up to 170 lm/W

  • SMD7070 LED technology

  • 168 LEDs

  • 70+ CRI

  • 3000K–6500K

  • AC100-277V

  • 347V/480V options

  • 50/60Hz

  • IP66

  • 0-10V dimming

  • More than 50,000-hour expected life

  • 7-year warranty

The 102,000-lumen output provides substantially more usable light per watt than conventional high-wattage legacy stadium fixtures, while the multiple optical packages allow that output to be directed according to the project layout.

Six Beam Options for Sports Lighting Design

The Hi-Shoot provides six optical choices:

15° Narrow Beam

A concentrated beam for long throws from tall or distant pole locations.

30° Beam

Provides controlled projection with somewhat broader field coverage.

45° Beam

A medium distribution suited to applications requiring a balance of throw and coverage.

60° Beam

Provides wider illumination for shorter throws or broader target areas.

Type II

Provides an elongated distribution useful where the lighting layout requires greater lateral coverage.

T3S

Provides an additional asymmetric distribution option for site-specific field and large-area lighting layouts.

Using multiple beam patterns within the same project can help place light where it is needed rather than simply increasing fixture wattage.

Laser Sight for More Precise Fixture Aiming

An important Hi-Shoot feature is its laser sight aiming system.

High-mast sports fixtures often require precise aiming to achieve the intended photometric layout. Small aiming errors at the fixture can translate into significant changes in where the beam reaches the playing surface.

The laser sight provides installers with a practical aiming reference to help control the fixture’s illumination range and establish the intended direction during installation.

For projects with multiple fixtures per pole, this can be particularly useful when each luminaire has a different aiming point.

Designed for Stadium & Athletic Field Lighting

The Hi-Shoot is intended for applications including:

  • Football fields

  • Baseball fields

  • Soccer fields

  • Basketball courts

  • Volleyball courts

  • Tennis courts

  • Hockey fields

  • Outdoor sports fields

  • Indoor sports facilities

  • Stadiums

  • High-mast sports lighting

The manufacturer also identifies highway, airport and seaport applications for the fixture.

Broadcast-Compatible Stadium Lighting

The Hi-Shoot specification identifies the fixture as supporting TV broadcast standards.

For sports venues where broadcasting is part of the project requirements, lighting design should consider more than average horizontal foot-candles.

Vertical illumination, uniformity, glare, color characteristics, camera locations and the applicable broadcast requirements should be evaluated as part of the overall lighting design.

Project-specific broadcast requirements should be provided when requesting a quotation.

Glare Control & Optical Performance

High-output sports lighting must put substantial light onto the playing surface without unnecessarily increasing glare or wasted illumination.

The Hi-Shoot uses optical-grade lenses designed to provide controlled light distribution and uniformity.

The specification also identifies field-rotatable optics, allowing the optical orientation to be adjusted according to the installation.

Correct beam selection and aiming are essential for balancing:

  • Field illumination

  • Uniformity

  • Player visibility

  • Spectator comfort

  • Glare

  • Spill light

  • Energy consumption

A photometric layout is recommended for major sports-field and stadium projects.

Built for Elevated Outdoor Installations

The Hi-Shoot is designed for demanding outdoor environments.

Key construction features include:

  • IP66 weather protection

  • Corrosion-resistant surface treatment

  • Aluminum housing

  • Weather-resistant driver compartment

  • Optical-grade polycarbonate lenses

  • Hinged wiring access

  • Safety lanyard

  • Air-convection thermal management

  • High wind resistance

The specification identifies resistance to Level 17 typhoon wind conditions, with an air-convection structure designed to help reduce wind load.

Thermal Management

High-output stadium fixtures generate significant heat, making thermal management important to LED and driver life.

The Hi-Shoot uses an air-convection radiator design intended to improve ventilation and heat dissipation.

The fixture is rated for operation from approximately:

-40°C to +50°C (-40°F to +122°F)

Expected operating life is listed at more than 50,000 hours, depending on installation ambient temperature.

Intelligent Sports Lighting Controls

The Hi-Shoot supports standard 0-10V dimming and optional intelligent control capabilities.

The manufacturer’s literature identifies:

  • Zigbee control

  • Dimming

  • Group control

  • Remote control

  • Color conversion

  • DMX512 options

  • RGB options

These capabilities provide additional flexibility for sports venues that require centralized operation or programmable lighting.

Color Temperature Options

The product table specifies a broad 3000K–6500K color-temperature range with CRI ≥70.

This allows the fixture configuration to be matched to project requirements ranging from warmer recreational environments to cooler high-output stadium lighting.

Color temperature should be confirmed for the specific project and configuration when ordering.

Voltage Options

The Hi-Shoot supports:

  • AC100-277V

  • 347V

  • 480V

  • 50/60Hz

This makes the fixture suitable for a variety of commercial and high-mast electrical systems.

Verify site voltage before ordering.

Certifications

The product specification identifies:

  • UL

  • DLC

  • CB

Electrical safety is stated to meet EN60598 and UL standard requirements.

Project-specific listing requirements should be confirmed for the exact configuration being ordered.

Fixture Size & Weight

The 600W Hi-Shoot fixture measures approximately:

490mm L × 300mm W × 390mm H

Approximate net weight:

19 kg / 41.9 lb.

The relatively compact individual fixture design is particularly relevant to multi-fixture high-mast sports-lighting structures.

Buyer Q&A:

Why Are There So Many Beam Angles?

Sports fields often require several different throws from the same pole.

One fixture may need to illuminate a distant portion of the field while another illuminates an area much closer to the pole.

The 15°, 30°, 45° and 60° beams, along with Type II and T3S distributions, give the lighting designer more options for directing output to different target areas.

What Is the Advantage of Laser Aiming?

With high-mast sports lighting, a small change in fixture angle can significantly change where the light lands.

The laser sight provides an aiming reference that can help installers direct each fixture toward its intended target area.

Final aiming should follow the approved photometric layout and project requirements.

Design the Sports Lighting System Around the Field

The best stadium lighting system is not necessarily the one with the highest fixture wattage or lumen output.

Performance depends on combining the correct output, optics, mounting height, aiming and fixture quantity for the actual field.

For retrofit projects, provide information about your existing poles and fixtures. For new construction, provide field dimensions, pole locations, mounting heights and required illumination levels whenever available.
