Product Overview

The ATG ULTRA SP8 is a high-output, power-selectable LED luminaire designed for high mast, sports, stadium and other large-area outdoor lighting applications. The series combines multiple wattage platforms, 200–480VAC operation and a broad selection of optical distributions for projects requiring high lumen output and controlled long-distance illumination.

Available platforms range from 400W through 1200W, with selectable wattage settings within each platform. Multiple beam angles allow the fixture to be matched to mounting height, aiming requirements and site geometry.

Available Optical Distributions

The SP8 provides multiple beam-angle options for matching the fixture to pole height, setback distance, aiming angle and required coverage.

– 400W / 500W / 600W: 20°, 30°, 40°, 60°, 80° or 120°
– 750W: 20°, 30°, 40°, 60° or 80°
– 1000W / 1200W: 20°, 30°, 40° or 60°

Optical selection should be based on photometric design rather than wattage alone, particularly for high mast installations where mounting height and aiming significantly affect ground-level illumination and uniformity.

High-Output 5000K Performance

Representative 5000K configurations include:

– 600W platform, 40° optic: approximately 100,990 lumens at high setting
– 750W platform, 20° optic: approximately 120,240 lumens at high setting; selectable to 600W at approximately 100,188 lumens
– 750W platform, 40° optic: approximately 122,773 lumens at high setting
– 1000W platform, 40° optic: approximately 162,057 lumens at high setting
– 1200W platform, 40° optic: approximately 197,907 lumens at high setting

Actual lumen output varies by wattage, CCT and optical configuration.

High Mast Project Assistance

High mast fixtures should be selected according to mounting height, pole configuration, fixture quantity, required light levels, uniformity, optical distribution and aiming rather than wattage alone.

For retrofit projects, provide the existing fixture wattage, mounting height, pole or headframe configuration, voltage and available site plans or photometric requirements.
